Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using ChurchStacks ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a church or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. The Service

ChurchStacks provides church management software including member management, giving tracking, event planning, volunteer coordination, communications, AI-powered insights, and church website services.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will not make changes that materially degrade the core service without a minimum of 30 days notice.

3. Accounts

• ·You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• ·You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
• ·You must be 18 or older to create an admin account.
• ·One church account may have multiple admin users — each user is bound by these terms.
• ·You must notify us immediately at security@churchstacks.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• ·Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• ·Upload content that is harmful, abusive, defamatory, or that violates any third-party rights.
• ·Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other churches' data.
• ·Use automated scripts or bots to scrape or extract data.
• ·Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission.
• ·Use the Service to store or transmit malware or malicious code.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are in USD. You authorise ChurchStacks to charge your payment method on each renewal date.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes will not apply to your current billing period.

Failed payments will result in a 7-day grace period. After that, your account will be downgraded to the free Lydia plan until payment is resolved.

6. Your data

Your church data belongs to you. We are a processor — not an owner — of the data you store in ChurchStacks. We will never sell your data, share it with other churches, or use it to train AI models.

You can export all your data at any time from Settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Intellectual property

ChurchStacks and its logos, designs, and software are owned by ChurchStacks Inc. and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without written permission.

You retain ownership of all content and data you upload to the Service.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ChurchStacks is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in that same period.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from Settings or by emailing support@churchstacks.com. See our Refund Policy for details on what happens to your data and any outstanding charges.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
